Who is willing to put their life on the line for a person, cause, or belief system if it came down to that?

March 12th, 2010 by , under nnmj.com.

  • Please state that cause, and identify that person or belief system if it exists and why.

  • Me.

  • If I see anybody committing a crime, hurting a child, senior citizen, dogs or cat or anybody unabble to defend themself and everybody, any member of my family, otherwise I could not live in peache.

  • For God, family, and my dog.

    And nothing else.

  • Yes, I would for my religion, my country, close family memebers and, in case of accidents basically anyone (like someone about to be hit by a car or something).

I would not do that for animals or for someone else's beliefs.

  • K...I've put my *** on the line for those I thought really needed my help. Their life was in danger and I put a stop to the danger. If put in the same situation today for that same person I'd run like the hell the other way.
I would however risk it all to help save my country. I think She is worth saving.

  • IF u ask, no one will! hahaha.....Even the SIngapore Government Dogs are the same too. LOL!

  • I am.
I would try to save my family members, or even a helpless person in some cases. I already have as well.
I would die to keep my country free. If I thought I was keeping my country free, I would die for it.

    PEACE!!

  • I would die for my friends and family and in the name of animal welfare.

  • Family, close friends
    Only pure physical danger.
If someone had a way to talk their out of something, I could only make things worse. I would take a bullet or a knife for someone close to me, and I have proven that in the past.

  • Anyone can be willing, but it takes an actual life-on-the-line situation to find out the depth of one's commitment.
I believe many people might be surprised at what they'd be willing to risk on the spur of the moment, at time of urgent and extreme need.
I also believe that many people who say they are willing, and give specific situations or beliefs, may be expressing a hope or an altruistic wish.
We're tested on this every waking moment, whether we know it or not.
We can only hope to be ready and responsive.

  • any of my friends, family, and a girl i still love

and it depends on a cause, i naturally have a rebellious spirit so maybe

oh yea, and i guess if someone threatened to shoot anyone in a shopping mall or wherever, i'd still probably try to receive the bullet because i feel everyone else deserves to live more than i do

  • id give my life for most people. if say some one was about to be run over i wouldnt hesitate. hell were all dieing sometime may as well go out helping someone right?

  • For my family and friends yes. However, a cause or belief system no. I think that it is a contradiction to lay your life down for a cause, as if you are so 'pro' something, surely it is better to spread the word of the cause, try to show people the reasons why you believe so strongly in it. If you are to die for it, then you can no longer show people these reasons... thus making your utter belief in it redundant? There are no modern martyrs, only those created to protect either people who have done bad things and claim they were justified or people who were killed without the intention of dying for their cause, i.e. Assassinated and therefore cannot not be a martyr by the very definition.

  • if it is for a greater good, definetly.

I would give my life for my family, friends, and country any time, any where.

  • Probably not me . I've learned that folks, at least in the city where I live, tend to be GARBAGE. Of course, I don't speak for everyone. There are Good people, and under the right circumstances, I would step up to the plate.

  • I would give my life for my Family friends and the people i love. i would do this because i could not live without them as it would destroy me, i know that i would do this because i had to push my girlfriend out of the way of a car and i got run over, whereas some peoplee may not give their life for other people as they thing that they do not have anything left.

  • I would gladly without hesitation give my life for my country. I love it and have been waiting 2 years to get into the army, unfortunately I still have 4 more to go. Also i would give my life for my brother, who has always stood beside me.
