when you look up cleavage information online about a mineral it says..... [1011]...... what does this mean, any help is appreciatedWhat they are referring to is the Miller Indices (pronounced een-dih-sees) of this mineral. If you're in a 100-level class, this probably won't help you much with identifying cleavage planes because you're not yet familiar with other fun mineralogy stuff, like crystal lattices.
What does your textbook say about the mineral and cleavage?
