I've been dreaming that i'm being raped by my ex...?

  • For the past week I've been dreaming I'm being raped by my ex. Vivid dreams, where I can see myself passed out and him on top of me.

    In real life, the last time I saw him before he broke up with me, I was sick with a fever and I feel asleep. I was on my period. A week later I wasnt. That was two months ago.

    Could he have raped me and I'm seeing it in my dreams?

  • I've had that same dream in the past... and it was almost 5 years after we separated.... I personally felt that I subconsciously felt emotionally raped...like he still had control over how I felt... I have trust issues BECAUSE of him...so his raping me was my minds way of showing he still had some sort of control over me... that was my conclusion on my dream... Shakes you up a bit hey?

    Oh an also, I don't think he raped you, unless you took some super heavy medication I'm pretty sure you would have woken up during it...

    Dreams are goofy things and all sorts of things happen in them. Just because something happens in a dream doesn't make it so.
