I'll only be gone for 4 days. I know what they say about using the RX bottles and placing them in a plastic bag and put them in your carry-on. Since its only 4 days worth of pills I can't see ( for pocketbook space reasons) why I can't just leave them in my small daily pill reminder. Has anyone ever done that and was questioned by security?http://www.tsa.dhs.gov/travelers/airtrav...
There is the link directly to the TSA website regarding medications. I keep mine in a weekly pill box and never have a problem.Medication is exempt from the liquid restrictions, pills aren't liquid anway, keep them in your pill box there's no reason for you to take it out. You do not have to put it in a clear bag if you don't wan't to.I've flown a number of times with my meds in a daily/week pill box
Yes , this past June
I also just confirmed it on the TSA web site , just put the pill box in a clear zip-loc bag#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
