what do i need to do, in detail, like, what do i need to buy also, to connect my playstation 2 to the internet to enable me to play online through the tv and use the online play so many of my games offer?if you have a fat ps2 you will need a network adapter for the back. if you have a slim ps2 the network adapter is built in. you plug an ethernet cable into your console, then plug the other end into your internet modem( don't use a router off your modem because there is a built in firewall in most routers that will not let the ps2 connect). you should be able to set up a connection on the ps2 through your system configuration. when you put an online supported game in and click on online play it will go to the system configuration to find a port out, then you can set up a connection.
some games are not supported online anymore.Buy an Ethernet. Plug it to ps2 and hopefully your online.Well you need to go out and buy an ethernet cable and an adaptor for the back
but make sure you are a atleast sub par gamer because most of the games on PS2 online are out dated and most of the people are very talented at the game and will probably demolish you. But Thats what you would have to do.PS2 needs a network adapter and a hard drive before you plug any ethernet cables in the back.get an ether-net cable and plug it in the back, and try connecting#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
