embedded Album-Art (.flac) not showing

  • Hi guys, I have a little problem ...
    Right now I am tagging my music collection in order to use it with the XBMC library. I'm using the flac-codec, the files are made with flac 1.1.3 or 1.1.4, so they should support embedded Album-Art. I embedded the covers using Mp3Tag v2.38.
    I transferred some files to my xbox and created a database, but in the library view, I can't see a cover. The normal file-view doesn't work, too. Usually I use thumbs with a size of 500x500 but I also tried with 128x128, they also didn't work. btw: mp3's with embedded Album-Art are working fine ...

    some facts: XBMC SVN rev8690
    Project Mayhem III (also tried Containment)
    Files converted using foobar2000 0.9.3, FLAC 1.1.4, ID3V2.3-Tags

    Does anybody have an idea or solution?

  • Ah, I thought I made anything wrong, cause the library in XBMC is afaik 1.1.4, too.

    Well, I guess I have to wait a little bit ;))

  • Yeah, we don't support them in FLAC's. If you could provide me with a link to a FLAC with embedded art (PM is fine) I'll add it to my list of TODOs.
