Wordpress PHP/RSS/ANYTHING in flash?

  • Hello,

    Pardon any pending noobishness, but...

    Does anyone know how to import wordpress generated rss (the wp-rss2.php file I'm assuming) into flash? Actually hoping to import in any format. Looking to use the WP admin to blog, Flash to display.

    I'm using the latest version of word press (1.5) and Flash 8, but have other versions of Flash available at work.

    It seems like it should be simple. Like most difficult things, I guess..

  • Well, the RSS that is generated is generated in the form of an XML file. So PHP, the technology, interprets the code, and outputs an xml file, although the file ends in .php. So you would load this in the same way as an XML file. There's a good ol' section of the Kirupa tutorials on Flash and XML.
