» What is the oil check screw for on the cylinder for a 1993 cr 125?

WHAT OR WHERE? ENGINE OIL OR TRANSMISSION?HUH??? oil check screw on the cylnder??? where and what are u talking about? the only check screw on cylnder is the air bleed for the water.on 4 cycle engines -some have that screw to remove to assure that oil is being provided to the head for valves and their componetsIt Is To Check The Oil Level. I Thort That Was Implicit Of The Name?!?! Lol :P --Mikey B--If you're talking about the screw on the left side of the cylinder (bottom/rear), that's to drain the coolant in the water jackets of the cylinder. So the coolant doesn't leak into the crankcase when removing the cylinder....... - 2010-03-12

» Identify a Contemporary Chinese Artist

In early 1993 in a gallery in Taipei, Taiwan (not sure exactly which one), I saw the work of a contemporary Chinese/Taiwanese artist. The works appeared to be oil on canvas in neutral colors, with Chinese calligraphy and painted water droplets dripping down the canvas. Who was the artist?Could this be the type of style? http://www.chineseartnet.com/xuxi/Ireland/XuXi_IrelandAs.jpgHello and thank you for responding. Unfortunately, that's not it. The work that I saw in Taipei was in painted in a photo-realistic style (i.e. it was painted but the water droplets falling down the face of the painting were painted in a highly realistic, photograph like fashion). Thank you for your assistance.I think you might be talking about Hung Liu. I&...... - 2010-03-12

» Is it just me, or are the new submissions in Kville kind of buggy?

Hey guys I just hit Kville to see how it looked with all of the new submissions. :puzzle: Here's the page I went to. http://www.kirupa.com/lab/kville/main.htm Is it just me, or are a bunch of the new submissions kind of messed up? Some of them have a gray box around the submission, like the background transparency was never set. Quiza's submission is crossing two plots. I guess it was too big for any of the existing sizes? Skunkycomics' golf green has that gray box and also seems a misplaced on the plot. And I noticed my 'Rampage' submission has its colors all messed up. It looks like all of the black areas were set as transparent and the background shows through. :hurt: Is anyone else seeing what I'm seeing? K-man...... - 2010-03-12

» Focal plane vs leaf

It occurred to me while I was doing a bit of reading that not all of the Graflox LF cameras came with focal plane shutters--I believe (if I remember correctly) that the Speed Graphic and the Crown Graphic had the focal plane and leaf shutters and the Super Graphic only had the leaf shutter. It got me to thinking: what's the use of the focal plane shutters on a LF camera? Don't the big studio cameras only have a in-lens leaf shutter? The leaf shutter also allows one to sync up with faster flashes, right? So why even include the focal plane as an option? Seems that it's just a recipe for disaster, especially if you trip the FP instead of the leaf or vice-versa. :confused:My guess is that if you have a focal plane shutter you can use ba...... - 2010-03-12

i'm in a tough situation and i'm not sure what to delay payment on, my credit cards that i took to pay for the mortgage or delay my mortgage and pay for credit cards...i'm about to be kicked out of my house and its a small mortgage thanksPay your mortgage. If you have to let something go, let it be the unsecured credit cards. Credit card companies can sue you and win a judgment. With that judgment they can garnish your wages, attach your bank account, and lien your property. But even if they were to lien your house, they could not force foreclosure. The lien would have to be paid off if you sell or refi the house.Pay the house first, delay the credit cards. The cards can't take your house, but the mortgage compa...... - 2010-03-12

Debate grows over number of Darfur dead http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ap/world/4368060.html By ALFRED de MONTESQUIEU Associated Press Writer © 2006 The Associated Press KHARTOUM, Sudan — As violence in Darfur escalates, a debate is growing over how many people have died in what officials call the world's worst humanitarian crisis. A U.N. agency's survey cites at least 200,000 deaths, but other studies say the death toll could be closer to 400,000 or more. Sudan's government, however, contends the deaths are only a tiny fraction of that. The dispute occurs in part because, ever since fighting began in early 2003, humanitarian workers have had only limited and perilous access to Darfur, a sprawling, arid regio...... - 2010-03-12

» Why do people like Gibon and Fender Guitars so much?

i think they are ok guitars, but they arent the best on my opinion by a long shot. here's why. Gibson - they are way overpriced. They are good guitars, but they arent worth 2500 bucks. I would think about buying a les paul if it was like 600, but its not even worth that much. they are also 5 piuunds or so more than any other guitar i have used. and, on top of all that, everyone i know wants one like its their life dream! Fender - I am not as critical about these guys. they are cheaper priced, but their quality has gone down in the passing years. now a good majority of rtheir guitars are made in mexico and to my stanards many of them barely pass as a starter guitar. i do like the telecaster series-the ones with the humbucker picku...... - 2010-03-12

» Everton v. Southampton 10/16/04 [R]

Finally! Having to wait two weeks for Everton football just about killed me. So tomorrow's the big day. I'm hoping we can recover from our last frustrating match, and avoid the post-Manager-of-the-Month curse. Yep, our own David Moyes was September's Manager of the Month and you all know what that means -- we're doomed to lose. Good news for us: Southampton's big guy James Beattie is out with a broken toe and will miss tomorrow's match. Cahill also looks like he's gonna play, even though he's still in terrible pain. Naysmith is out, after picking up an ankle injury in international duty. Shouldn't be any other surprises. As of now, I can't find an online stream but if anything changes, I'll post it. » (Canada) Budget freeze endangers wildlife agency, scientists say

CHERYL CORNACCHIAThe Gazette Sunday, October 21, 2007 A year in which Canada geese forgot to fly south and bears failed to hibernate is not the time for the federal government to cut funding and begin dismantling the country's national wildlife service. That is the message leading Canadian wildlife biologists, many of them working in Quebec, are delivering to Ottawa in emails and letters protesting against drastic budget cuts to the Canadian Wildlife Service. Since the creation of the Canadian Wildlife Service in 1947, the Quebec scientists note, hundreds of endangered birds, animals and habitats have been identified and saved from extinction. The wildlife service's budgets have been frozen, travel cancelled and research put on hol...... - 2010-03-12

» Tokyo hard hit by Global Warming

For Tokyoites, this year has been warmer than usual. Much warmer than usual. At first there were the plum trees blossoming early February, and the cherry blossoms starting mid-March, 2 weeks earlier than normal. Well, it was already like that last year... It could just be a coincidence. Nothing much to worry about. Then came summer. The tsuyu (rainy season) scheduled for mid-June to mid-July and sometimes referred to by the Japanese as the "fifth season", didn't come at all. 2 days of rain is all we got. In comparison, it rained almost constantly during 3 weeks last year. Consequently, Tokyo, and many other regions experienced their hottest summer in over 60 years, with temperature going as high as 40'C and a heatwave lasting all the...... - 2010-03-12

You learn more from failure, than you do success. there's a quote by thomas edison that means basically the same thing. it goes something like " i didnt fail 1000 times, i just discovered 1000 ways NOT to make a light bulb" as long as you learn from your mistakes, they arent really failures, theyre chances to learn.its like trial by error.. keep failing and you learn something, eventually you will get there. » Do picky dog breeders who turn down customers realize that they are just giving puppy mills more business?

First let me say that there are alot of reputable, nice, fair, and down-to-earth dog breeders out there. But there are also alot of reputable, but snobby and/or ridiculously picky, dog breeders out there who have ridiculous requirements and contracts to purchase one of their puppies. Don't they realize that by turning down non-wealthy people or being ridiculously picky about their customers, that they are just giving the puppy mills more business. Because lets be realistic, most customers are going to get the breed of dog they want regardless of whether the ridiculously picky breeders turn them down or not. Customers will just buy the puppy from a BYB or puppy mill instead. So whatever the ridiculously picky breeders think they ...... - 2010-03-12

Global warming is always up to no good!I'm an atheist, and even I find this question sick. That was in the early to mid portion of the Roman climate optimum and while temps were not as high as the earlier Holocene optimum they were noticeably hotter than the MWP or our current very cool optimum. It is very interesting to note that ever since the Holocene optimum the peak temperatures have been lower in each successive optimum as has the length of each optimum with our current one being so far the coldest of them all. This is why I get both amused and exasperated by the AGW believers because only a minor amount of easy study would let them realize AGW is a political farce not science. I have a Nikon D200 and I set my shutter speed to 1/ 8000 and the picture is extremely dark. I set the ISO to 1600 and it's still dark, PLEASE someone help me, I'm going nuts!1/8000th of extremely fast - it would probably only be useful for fast paced sports such as horse racing or cars. Try bringing down your ISO to say 800, your aperature to f/4 or so, and your shutter to 1/200th. Now try :) I doubt it is a problem with your cameraAre you reading the meter? even if you are shooting in manual the camera has a meter to tell you if you are under or over exposed. Is f/4 the +/- thing? The +/- thing is the exposure. You need the aperature. I'm not familiar with how to change it on the D200. Nice camera by the way! :) ~Michael~Thanks man, I'...... - 2010-03-12

Does any one have a rough estimate on this? Well thanks in advance! That is such a good question!!! Thanks for thinking of the idea!!! Okay so: You how people are neutering animals like dogs to stop them from reproducing, well if that happened to turkeys pretty soon there will be no more of them. Also if farmers killed all of the eggs that chickens and turkeys reproduced then they will eventually die. Did you know that sometimes if a farmer is not careful they could kill a baby chick in the egg. What I mean by this is that the eggs go through a sorting process to see which ones...... - 2010-03-12

As you mention, the literal meaning of "modus vivendi" is "way of living" or "manner of living." The term is most often used to describe a lifestyle that is in some way unusual, extreme or eccentric. "Modus vivendi" is not negative per se, but it is sometimes used in negative contexts. and what would be best for them (Phalloceros Caudomaculatus if it matters) staple tropical flake betta flake goldfish flake algae flake or dried bloodwormsNormally I'd say for livebearers you want a slightly more veggy flake. For fry you'll want a more meaty flake. Generally I'm not a big fan of feeding only one food. As far as grinding it up rolling it in your fingers is often enough. -Blood worms are a great supplement for fry being high in protein, but it's not a good primary food. Okay...How do air masses form? After answering this question here is a poll.. Have you ever been told you suck at singing? a) yes b) no c) i don't remember d) i have never sung a song in public just in the bathroombYour question is fine. Here's one answer: "Warm air masses originate to the south and cold air masses originate to the north. Cold air masses typically form because there is less solar radiation where they form, near the Earth's poles. This usually occurs when there are no clouds; energy is lost from the Earth's surface at night, cooling the air. In the winter, snow cover near the poles reflects sunlight away during the day, thereby not allowing the Earth to warm. If this is repeated ...... - 2010-03-12

From their archaeological findings – tombs, hieroglyphs, artifacts and rubbish - one can build up a picture of the builders’ diet which included bread, beef, pork, sheep, beer, birds and fish. Obviously the supervisors and administrators would have had a more varied diet than the builders and labourers.
